Meet Me in the Middle

Meet Me in the Middle
Neutrality, Totality,
Where all can become one.
Where the sky is blotted out,
By moons and by suns.

Meet Me in the Middle,
Away from edges that fray.
Where the storm can be watched,
On the ocean’s bay window.

Meet Me in the Middle,
Of the season’s change,
A waltz of reds singing the blues,
A smear of purple range.

Meet Me in the Middle,
Where peace is salvaged.
We are in the middle,
And always will be.

Totality Tanka

Heavenly ring flame
Please welcome totality
Black binding blindness
Celestial bodies join
An eye for an eye glass sky.

Halo

Lotus petal exterior
You bloom in the heat of the day
Morning dusk
Featuring blue moon
The sun is trapped.
Behind the searing desire,
Exoskeleton of fire and flame.
Five minute burnout
Snuffed,
Enough.
The sunrays have snared me.

Ace of Hearts

Fear of intimacy?
Celibacy?
Words misused.
A world of love awaits,
For those who understand themselves.
Attraction:
Intellectual,
Emotional,
Romantic.
Absent Interest,
A choice made,
Love is love,
No gender forbade.

Genderflux

Sun or moon,
We hold no label.
Man or women,
We transcend.
Pink or blue,
Does not define
Prism,
Kaleidoscope,
Rainbow,
Alive.
Just as the tide pulls,
And energy flows
And flux.
We sway with the spectrum.

Stone See Stone Saw

Balance is a fickle thing.
It sees and saws
Back and forth
With no scale tipped.
Skipped stones stay still
Sitting sea-side.
Tides wash them
Depth-bound,
New sediment takes its place.
There is always more,
You can always be more,
Let the tide wash your labels,
Let it free you.
